Purk is a health-positive, plant-based energy drink made from premium, unroasted coffee beans, saffron, and a blend of exotic spices. We use only five natural, whole-plant ingredients, with no chemical additives, preservatives, sugar, mysterious “natural flavors” or anything we can’t pronounce. Our spices are shipped whole and grounded fresh by us to retain their medicinal properties and unique flavors.

We drew our inspiration from the centuries-old practices of Africa and the Middle East as these were the first humans to domesticate coffee. Sourcing our spices from the same region we procure our coffee from provides a beautiful balance

Saffron has been used as a natural agent in traditional medicine for centuries due to its effective treatment of diseases. There are new studies being released regularly that keep adding to the benefits of saffron. Long-term studies of saffron have shown benefits to all organs and health problems including bronchitis, asthma, coughing, nervous system, teeth and gums, heart health and eyes. Due to its antioxidant properties as well as hypolipidemic (lipid-lowering agent), anti-inflammatory, and anti-carcinogenic effects.

Green coffee bean’s natural anti-inflammatory properties may play a role in lowering blood pressure and blood sugar levels. The main contributor to green coffee’s health benefits is chlorogenic acid (CGA). It’s claimed that CGA is able to exert pivotal roles on glucose and lipid metabolism regulation and on the related disorders, e.g. diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, cancer, and hepatic steatosis.
